Highlights from El Tour de Taco!

This past Saturday, we completed an epic Tour del Taco Ride through Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. The ride itself was around 36 miles. Though nine stops were planned, we only made it to six taco joints - a pretty decent showing nonetheless.

Out in the heart of Queens there is a little known Velodrome buzzing with track racers from the area. We rode out there this past Sunday to watch the New York state elite finals.
Our Bike Ride to Governors Island

Last Saturday 7/18 the Brooklyn by Bike crew headed off our island to Governors Island (directions below). We enjoyed beautiful weather, a free ferry ride and good food from award winning street vendors courtesy of City of Water Day.

Coming to Park Slope is the first ever bike themed flea market. It being bike month and all, we think it’s a great way to spend a few bucks. Wow. We've seriously been lucky with the amazing weather and turn out for our rides...either that or Brooklyn by Bike is more popular than we thought! This Saturday we rode out to Floyd Bennett field on quiet streets and even quietergreenways.
We Rode to Coney Island!

Wow, our first ride was a complete success! 18 people showed up for our first ever Brooklyn by Bike ride down to Coney Island this past Sunday, April 5th. Amazing! Thanks to everyone for coming out.
